Already Ironwood has gained the attention of the media and press. It has been featured in Buffalo's "Business First" weekly, where it earned a small business award sponsored by the Bank of Holland. Buffalo Spree magazine voted it 5th in Western New York golf courses. And the par 4, hole #7 was shown on WKBW-TV Channel 7 on their weekly sports feature of area courses. Ironwood's park like environment and links-play attributes provide enjoyment and challenge for every level of golfer. The work on the new clubhouse is done! The results have been met with many great compliments. We appreciate everyone's patience while this major project was in progress. We hope you enjoy what we have done for you! With the kitchen being done, we have extended the lunch menu. Of course, there are the great standards of Hot Dogs and Burgers. We are also offering Cold Ham or Turkey Sandwiches, Hot Chicken Breast sandwiches, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut, Breakfast Sandwiches, and an occasional Special Lunch sandwich. We are also able to offer dinner choices for groups after golf now. We also offer group packages for Golf & Dinner. FINALLY! We will have our beer license! You may bring in a small cooler to keep it in as we will have ice available. We thank you all for your patience over the past 8 years for us to finally have this happen. Small Business Commerce Association’s Award Honors the Achievement SAN FRANSICO, November 7, 2009, Ironwood Golf Course has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Public golf courses category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce that Ironwood Golf Course has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Public golf courses category. The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports.
