Ironwood Public Golf Course
and Driving Range

Nestled within the gentle rolling hills and beautiful open skies of Wyoming County’s farm country, Ironwood Golf Course offers golfers of all skill levels a challenging and enjoyable round of golf in a beautiful, scenic setting.

Our snack bar offers a tasty variety of food including hot dogs, burgers, and deli sandwiches for a quick lunch at the turn, and a wide variety of snacks to keep you going through the back nine. We also have various soft drinks and a variety of beers from which to choose.

We are an easy drive from anywhere in western New York — located in Cowlesville on Folsomdale Road, off to Route 20A between East Aurora and Warsaw. We are only 45 minutes from downtown Buffalo and 30 minutes from Batavia. Come out and play a round! We look forward to meeting to you!

Designed by golf course architect Scott Witter of Witter Design, the course was built by the Ripsteins. The greens were built and shaped by Brain Lembke, owner / operator of Golf Course Shaping Services. The remaining work was done by the Ripstein brothers with the help of their wives, children, and a few friends who knew how to run a tractor, dozer, or rake.

This 6,416 yard course (from the Championship tees) has a park-like front i marked by a tree-lined fairways and rolling hills. The back 9 features subtle elevation changes, deep rough, and natural tall grass areas. Over the past few years we have added some trees, but are still keeping with the open links-style play. The whole course contains enough white sand bunkers, dog legs, hills, and water hazards to keep it interesting and challenging. We are constantly working to enhance the course for the enjoyment of all who visit to play a round.
